    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here have tried or if it's even possible to solder the Canare LV-77S cable to the "super rca" or "DAYTON AUDIO LOCKING RCA PLUG SOLDER TYPE" from partsexpress. If it's possible, could someone here tell me the proper way to do so? I know that most of the DIY sites uses the Canare LV-77S with crimpable rca connectors.
    Thanks,

Since the plug is a solder type, then yes, you can solder the LV77S to it. The plug description, http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshow...umber=091-1270
indicates it's an 8mm entry plug, your only concern would be if the outside diameter of the LV-77S were to big. My Canare catalog shows an O.D. of 7.7mm, so you're in business.
If you're asking how to solder, then get a friend who knows how, to show you and then practice before you solder the plugs.
