    For members located in Canada....
Collect all four kid-oriented DVDs in specially marked Kellogg's cereals:
    Air Bud in Frosted Flakes
Air Bud: Golden Retriever in Corn Pops
Babar: King of Elephants in Rice Krispies
The Thief and the Cobbler in Froot Loops
Today, I bought all four DVDs, oops, cereals, at a local supermarket.

I saw the Babar one the other day. It was one of those big Costco size boxes. It was four dollars. Maybe I'll get one tomorrow.

    Jeff,
quote: I take it these are just in sleeves?[/quote]
Yes, the cereals are packaged with a DVD on the front, showing the inner part of the DVD. Each DVD is packaged in an unsealed, paper sleeve with a clear cover. The sleeve is then glued to the inside of each cereal box.
    Mark,
I had paid CDN$4.69 plus taxes for each cereal (it was on special this week, regular prices are in the $6 to $7 range). Sizes range from 375 to 700 grams. The store was Overwaitea. However, they should be available in most grocery store, especially those big name ones (due to a higher turnover of inventory).
All DVDs are in both English and French languages (Alliance Atlantis), DD, and no extras. The top of each DVD is screened with the movie title and the name of the associated cereal.

Well, I guess I'm going cereal shopping tomorrow. Too bad I don't eat cereal.

FWIW, I am pretty sure that all DVDs are either full frame or pan and scan. Sorry that I had forgotten to mention this. But the sound is pretty good....it's DD. The picture quality is better than VHS.

Yes, Air Bud 1 & 2 are P&S. But for once I cant complain... It's free (sort of). Not that I like full frame pictures.

Alright, when are we gonna get something like this in the US??? This just sounds too cool, I almost want to drive to Canada to pick these up!
I'm still bummed cuz Cap'n Crunch had records printed ON the boxes one time in the 70's- they were those Eva-Tone things stuck on the back of the box and you could cut them out and play them- but my mom wouldn't buy them for me because she said the cereal was bad for you! [IMG]

OK, I had to buy a box of Froot Loops to get "The Thief and The Cobbler" on DVD. That is one warped kid's movie. The animator and director must have been stoned for that one. I like it. [IMG]
I was irritated to find out they didn't have the Rice Crispies with Babar. I'll have to go grocery shopping again this week.

None of the DVDs interested me, but Honey Nut Cheerios, my regular breakfast cereal had the PC game Who Wants To Be a Millionaire Volume 1 included in the same manner! Makes me wish I didn't bother buying the 2nd edition. Damn good deal if you ask me!

The Theif & the Cobbler is pretty warped. I picked up all four of the movies so if anyone wants to drop by for breakfast...
