Canadian TV seems to have gotten more liberal (1 Viewer)

Saturday night I was flipping through the channels & stumbled across a movie on The Movie Network (Canada's version of HBO) called "Goddess". I thought it was your average soft porn that they show most nights. I was quite surprised when the action heated up, the camera zoomed in on everything in explicit detail. When did they start showing hardcore porn on TMN? They've been showing them for awhile on the Playboy Channel on Saturday nights but I didn't expect to see them show up on a mainstream movie channel.

Well CTV airs The Sopranos and The Osbournes uncensored so I'm not too surprised at all.

Maybe they've taken lessons from the Swedes?
The HBO type movie channels there showed (probably still do) uncensored hardcore porn, I was pretty disappointed when I came over here and saw the soft stuff on HBO.

Showcase channel also shows uncensored movies, I have seen some pretty hardcore stuff on there, I can't go into any more details here .

Maybe. Coming from the US, it was a pleasant surprise to find lax "decency standards" here in Sweden.
(Yes, they still show porn every night on the pay channels around midnight.)
