Canadian Dumbo DVD doesn't stop (1 Viewer)

I've got the Canadian R1 version of Disney's Dumbo.

There is one problem: If I press the stop button while the menus are on screen, all I get is the "Ø" ("forbidden") sign.

Did they goof something up here, or is there some trick that I don't know?

The way it is, it seems that I must remember to stop the DVD at the end of the movie - but before the menu appears on screen again. If I forget, I'll have to restart the movie before I'm allowed to stop.

My player is region-free and macrovision-free as far as I know, but unfortunately not "button disable"-free...

I noticed that too. I just hit the open tray button and that does the trick since I only stop it when I want to take it out.

Can they disable the "eject" button, I wonder (Or the Power button for that matter!)
