So a friend of mine at work here just realized that last night he ordered the Babylon 5 Season 1 disc from a Canadian dvd retailer (they had the lowest price - probably in because it was in Canadian dollars [IMG] ). Anyway, now he is asking me if there's anything about it that won't work and I said Canada is region 1 so it should be fine, but it might have bi-lingual packaging. Is this the case? I know some Canadian releases are different then their US counterparts because of this but I'm not exactly sure what the rules are about it...

If it's from a major studio, usually the biggest part is that the packaging has French text as well. Since "Babylon 5" is pretty much the same in either language, I doubt they'll bother

Babylon 5 is released from Warner so you won't have bilingual.

I doubt a separate "French" version will be released as it's a gift set.
