How good are the decoders in some of these HTB's? A friend of mine suggested rigging pre-amp outs off a HTB and running them thru my B&K 5-channel amp and using the HTB speakers/sub for my home PC. I already have Infinity

RS-3's for my HT but no decoder yet. I dont have much more than $300-$350 to spend but I wanted something simple I could use until I got thru college. any suggestions?

I would sell your B&K amp and buy a good receiver, like Denon 2802, etc.

Well I would but I need a need a dvd player too. I am looking for one unit because I can hide the amp and sub. Asthetics, simpicity and g/f are also other factors.
