I'd like to get into records and before I go out and invest some $$$ on a 2 channel integrated, I'd like to get a turntable and run it through my 6200, is it possible?

You'll need a phono pre-amp first. Look around audigon.com for a used one.

I'm assuming that the Marantz doesn't have Phono inputs in which case you probably need to get a Phono Preamp. Check www.audioadvisor.com. They sell several models.

Radio Shack has a small cheap battery powered turntable (phono) preamp that is actually highly regarded by some audiophiles. It is affectionately known as the "little rat". MIght start with that, i think its about 25 bucks.
