All of my frustration over security tags planted beneath DigiPaks has had me thinking about customizing as well.
I like DigiPaks when they're done well. In regards with the justifiable issues of wear and tear, I'd use an Amaray style sleeve. It would do wonders in integrating DigiPak packaging while keeping it safe (make a solid presentation as well).
So I'm sitting here, considering all these little projects I'd like to try, and it dawned on me that while I can get Amaray and multi-disc cases quite easily, DigiPaks are nowhere to be found.
I'm looking for the plastic parts in any disc increment, and maybe a blank cardboard backing that I could add the artwork to. A bigger project for sure, but I'm aching to try it.
Any ideas?
