Can Yamaha RX-V2092 be upgraded with 6-channel analog inputs?

    Sorry for the cross post from Receivers . . .

    I thought I saw a post a very long time ago where someone stated they had instructions to upgrade this older Yammy with 6 channel analog inputs. Any readers here have a copy or have a success story on this?

    Sure these can be upgraded. MSB does this kind of work. The most common preamp I've read about adding the 5.1 channel inputs was the Citation 7.0 prepro, but they should be able to do it for most receivers as well.

    Hmm, see that, cost is almost as high as buying a replacement. The original hint I got was a true DIY solution . . . which is not a problem for me if I can get a schematic or wiring diagram.
