I was wondering has anyone heard anything about more seasons? I know it sold pretty well so I'm hoping more will come. Is Artisan good at releasing this kind of info?
I just can't imagine this selling poorly, so who knows why we haven't heard about season 2 yet? I will only begin to worry if we get through next April with no new news...other than that, I'll just keep my eyes on TVShowsOnDVD.com and all the likely sources for Turtles news, and enjoy the season 1 set which is one of my most often played DVDs. Well, the first 5 episodes get played a lot the last 4, not so much.
Yeah, that was posted on 11/03, and since then we've heard nothing, so I'm nervous about that date. Don't forget I said this in there:
"Confirmed" is a very strong word, and as I said, we didn't get it ourselves, we got it from Pavan (who posts here at HTF): he's not a direct member of our team, but he contributes any info he finds out and we pass it along to our readers. Pavan runs the Jack's Bistro website (fansite for Three's Company) and otherwise works for SitcomsOnline.com but he contributes to us and several other TV-related sites as well. Anybody should appreciate all the work he does!
Is that date Pavan was told going to turn out to be correct? Did they change it on us? We'll see!
Funny you mention TMNT Vol. 2 - I just asked Lions Gate earlier this week if any new information has arrived (episode info, special features, etc.), all they said was they had a date (April 26).
Where did you get a chance to speak with Lion's Gate or was it in an interview?
At the rate they're going however, I wonder if we'll have the whole series on DVD eventually. Kind of sad when the new cartoon already has 14 DVDs and the original only has 1.
Oh that's right I forgot about Michaelangelo's Christmas Rescue or whatever it was called, the only one I never got. I love the new series just as much as the original but I'd still like to have the whole series at one point.
Well, TVShowsOnDVD has just posted more information about Volume 2 of the original Turtles, including cover art. Since the episodes are listed in production order, I was wondering if somebody could tell me what the airdate order was or link me to a site that has airdate order for all of the seasons. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
I don't think airdate or production order is superior in this instance, but I am interested in knowing what the differences were.
Check out tvtome. They have extensive listings for just about anything under the sun. I can't yet post links so make the appropriate modifications to this:
2- 1 8910-001 1 Oct 88 Return of the Shredder 2- 2 8910-002 8 Oct 88 The Incredible Shrinking Turtles 2- 3 8910-003 15 Oct 88 It Came from Beneath the Sewers 2- 4 8910-004 22 Oct 88 The Mean Machines 2- 5 8910-005 29 Oct 88 Curse of the Evil Eye 2- 6 8910-006 5 Nov 88 Case of the Killer Pizzas 2- 7 8910-007 12 Nov 88 Enter: the Fly 2- 8 8910-008 19 Nov 88 Invasion of the Punk Frogs 2- 9 8910-012 26 Nov 88 The Catwoman from Channel Six 2-10 8910-013 3 Dec 88 Return of the Technodrome 2-11 8910-010 10 Dec 88 New York's Shiniest 2-12 8910-009 17 Dec 88 Splinter No More 2-13 8910-011 24 Dec 88 Teenagers from Dimension X
That can't be the airdate order. Why would they air the season finale, Return of the Technodrome, as the 8th or so episode of the season?
