Hi all,
I was just given a set of Hometech HT502R in wall speakers yesterday (because I am a GREAT dad ;))and I would like to know if they will be able to handle my Denon 1801.
Speaker Specs:
Infinite-baffle in-ceiling speakers mount flush to ceiling
Aluminum grilles may be painted to match any décor
1/2" cloth-dome tweeter
5-1/4" polypropylene-cone woofer with rubber surround
Power-handling capacity: 60 watts
Frequency response: 60Hz - 20kHz
Impedance: 8 ohms nominal
Sensitivity: 88dB
I know the Denon's power rating is higher (70 watts) than the speakers, but I will never be turning it up to 11. I just want a clean, entertaining sound for watching scary movies.
Thanks

will be fine

That is unless your denon outputs exactly 70 watts and you listen to it at max volume for extended periods of time.
