Yeah that was basically what I needed to know. I bought two of those amps when they were on sale and am looking for the right two woofers for them. The price of the BDP 1201 is very attractive, but I see very few projects with them. They will end up in an apartment until I graduate. I considered two tempests but but would it be worth the extra cost and the large fraction of the room they will take up?

My plan is to do two 14 or 16" ported sonosubs tuned to about 15-20 Hz. I plan to put one 6 or two 4" ports on the top and of course have the subs down-firing. Each one will have the PE 250 watt amp running it. I will put the subs right behind the mains in the corners of the room.
