like different resoultions as compared to a regular tv analog vs digital
Its pretty much impossible to get a good comparison with HD vs regular TV, its really one of those things you gotta see in person. A still image doesnt do HD justice, when its in motion, its amazing... You dont really see it as 'clearer', it just looks more LIVELY, like looking through a window
Just like to say, that the display type(analog/digital) has NO BEARING WHATSOEVER on the resolution it is capable of displaying. People get this confused, by thinking that "digital" tvs are HDTVs. Not so. Digital display devices can be standard res, and conversely, analog CRTs can be high-def capable. Also, digital video sources can be just standard def, such as DVD, regular digital cable, satellite, etc. "digital-ready" tvs, or whatnot is just marketing bs, don't confuse this with what is actually going on. When you mean HDTV, say HDTV/high-def, NOT "digital."
