Can someone explain to me where to put this UHF RadioShack double bow antenna? (1 Viewer)

I realize that it an indoor antenna.. any particular place I need to put it... fastened down somewhere or is it pretty forgiving?

We need to obtain a reference point of some kind. What I mean is that if you just plug it into your STB with a 3' cord and your get every channel imaginable, then you're in good shape. You won't need to strap it down or anything else.

If you don't get reception, then that's another matter. Holding it up in the air might work, or bringing it up to the floor above you, if that is possible.

If you do get everything right away, then do your best to hide it. It might work on the floor behind your equipment.
