Not sure if this is the right forum, but I figured since this could fit into several categories I would put it here. I keep hearing about Bluetooth phones and computer devices, but what exactly is it, in terms a tech novice like me can understand? How does it differ from regular wireless computer networking stuff?

Thanks in advance.:D

You can check out bluetooth.org for some information.

If you click on "Introduction to Bluetooth" it will open a shockwave presentation about bluetooth devices and what you can do with them.

Basically bluetooth is a short range radio frequency wireless technology that allows electronic equipment like cell phones, pda's, computers, printers, etc, to sync and communicate with each other.

Hope this helps,

Neal

Google would help you more then I could but doing some research for a wireless mouse I found that the Logitech MX700 w/o bluetooth has a range of 6'. The MX900 *with* bluetooth is around 30'. :emoji_thumbsup:
