Hi all,

I got a pair of Criterion 77 99-02321WX sorround speakers in a garage sale..without power cord and cables.
It says 30 Watt and 8 ohms inputs and has a +ve and -ve screws..for both speakers. I am on budget.. dont wna spend much..

1. Can I connect it to my computer.

2. I wna buy the power cord and connecting cables but don't hav a clue, which ones to buy.

3. Can I use one speaker at home and other in my car..

I just need some sound :)
Thanks

Welcome to the Forum, Rocky!

You really didn’t give us much to go on here. For instance, are these regular stereo speakers, or so-called computer speakers? When you say “power cable” that indicates powered speakers, which are pretty common for computers but fairly rare for home speakers.

If they’re powered stereo speakers, there are only a few types of AC power cables made, so Radio Shack or some other electronics store should have something you can use.

If they’re computer speakers, they’ll require an AC adapter. That’s trickier, since it has to be the correct output voltage and amperage, and the correct connector with the correct polarity.
