Can I use Sony SXRD KDSR60XBR1 as a computer monitor as well? (1 Viewer)

i want to set up my new SXRD KDSR60XBR1 as a media center display too and was wondering if i can use it as a monitor, i have a DVI output on my video card but just wondering if the resolution will be good enough. anyone have experience with it?

Hi Amir - the KDSR60XBR1 has a D-Sub (15-pin) input for your PC, but not a DVI input. You can certainly use this set as a PC monitor if your video card has a D-Sub output.

oh ok, i was hoping it would have a DVI input. oh well. i wonder what the highest resolution i can use on it. i still havent received the tv yet.

your tvs user manual should have a section on using it as PC monitor. Please be aware that it will most likely be a very "goofy" resolution. By goofy, I mean non standard resolution.
