I have some old Bose speakers which I love, but they are not shielded. I would like to set them next to the TV, but the magnets mess up my picture. Is there any way to shield these speakers or do I have to place them some where else?

Unfortunately, no, there is no way to effectively sheild a set of unsheilded speakers (that I'm aware of anyway).

Parts Express sells some inexpensive "bucking magnets" that might do the job. Ideally you want magnets designed specifically for your speakers, but for the price I'd give them a try.

I've installed the specific Klipsch magnets on some of my Legends and they worked great.
