BTW I think Rudi was the closest person to answer my question. I am looking for a speaker that sounds like it isnt working hard. My boston seem to strain on the midbass, they sound great, but they try hard it seems like.

What are you powering the Bostons with right now? That strain may be coming from a lack of power.

I would think that many of the internet brands would offer similar value and complement a SVS sub very well.
