Ok, I got a copy of Jet Set Radio Future pretty cheap today. One possible problem, it doesn't have a book. Is there anywhere I can download a PDF or scans of the book? Is the book necessary? I've played the demo, so have a basic idea as far as movement and stuff.

Thanks!

You mean the manual that comes with the game? I don't think it's all that necessary. I actually misplaced mine the day I got the game and found it about a month later in the couch cushions, well after I had beaten the game. So I don't think there is anything all that crucial in the booklet. As you said, the controls are pretty simple. (Skate. Jump. Trick. Spray.), and Roboy walks you through all you'll need to know. Enjoy!

Ack. Sega offer pdf manuals on their website, but it's only for Dreamcast games.
It's worth emailing Sega BTW - frequently publishers offer replacement manuals etc for a small fee ($1.50 - $3) if you're desperate for a replacement. If you're just wanting a 'how to', go visit GameFAQs

I would try calling SEGA of America on the phone, they'll probably send you one for free. The email inside the JSRF manual is: [email protected]
or
you can call: 1-716-650-6703
:D

Thanks guys. I've been playing it for about an hour and everything seems simple enough, just like the demo. I'll probably get in touch with Sega anyway. I'd like to have the manual if I can get it, call it an anal thing. :)
Thanks again!

Just an update to let anyone who wants a book know. Sega says, "We do not have access to game manuals. The only way to get one is with a new game."

Oh well.
