Just wondering if the geometry issues of flat screens can be completely resolved with an avia calibration and or adjustments.

Greetings

No ... most geometry and convergence issues with flat tube designs cannot be fixed with DVD test patterns or in a calibration.

Hi Michael!

Since the geometry problems can not be solved with a flat screen (now that I have seen the geometry problems, I always see them and it is distracting) I am leaning toward a Hitachi 36udx10s. It is a curved screen which is an advantage and disadvantage (although I wont have much light in my room to cause glare) but to me more of an advantage. Do you have any experience with this set or Hitachi sets in general? What are your thoughts?
