mine plays wma stuff...but most of my files are mpegs and wmv files. can these be played on my DVD player? just curious.

i have a Panasonic S55S that i just got. i have 30 days to change my mind...

i'd like to make sure my player can play most formats...and it seems like i might be torn between the S55 and the Pioneer DV-563A. the pioneer plays SACDs, but no wma. i think i'll probably want to play VCD, SCVD, etc... so i don't really know which i should stick with

    also - what's the difference between DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW?

do either of these players have the chroma bug?
