can anyone recommend "continuity tester" for DIY cables? (1 Viewer)

If you have a specific model number or what I need to look for on one of these widgets, I would appreciate it. Also, how do I read it?

Please, make all instructions you write out ideal for a "Making Audio/Video cables for Dummies" as I have NO technical abilities whatsoever! (Proof? It took me about 5 minutes to install my model 6000 8psk module AND I referred back to the instructions!)
