Can anyone recommend a good source for rare, out-of-print, import laserdiscs?

I'm desperately looking for a copy of AMY GRANT: HEART IN MOTION VIDEO COLLECTION on laserdisc. I don't believe there was ever a domestic release, but I know that it was available in Japan. I found a copy on eBay several months ago, but it sold for over a hundred bucks and I was jobless and broke at the time. Well, I can afford that sort of price now, but I just can't find anywhere to buy it. I've scoured the web, and aside from that one eBay auction, I haven't even been able to find any evidence that the disc really exists.

If anyone knows a good place I could try to find this disc shy of actually visiting Japan, could you please help?

    Thanks.

It's probably hard to find in Japan. Last I heard the used shops were dumping LDs en masse

Keep checking eBay. I've had to go back & check many times for LDs that interest me.

Good chance that an Amy Grand Music-video DVD would have that on it. Any Amy Grant DVDs announced for the future?

Even my beloved Enya LD is soon to be replaced with a DVD in the not-too-distant future.

Technically, aren't ALL laserdiscs "out of print" now?

I was pulling the chain of some ebay seller about this very thing. He was selling a "rare out of print" laserdisc, as though there were any other kind right now.

I only classify OOP LD titles as ones that don't have an identical release on DVD. That said, my rare OOP "Smoking: How To Stop" disc should be worth at least $200 [IMG]
