Hey people,
I'm looking for a list of Dvd's that are in English Dolby Surround 2.0 for DPL watching..
Star Wars TPM was great in 2.0!
Thanks!

Nathan, you might be better off looking up individual titles that have piqued your curiosity. There are a plethora of DVDs with Dolby 2.0--way too many to list.

Fletch
The Burbs(excellent 2.0!)
All the Vacation movies except Vegas(Also they are P&S

)
Doc Hollywood(also P&S)
Funny Farm(open matte)
Friday
Young Guns
Christine(another excellent 2.0!)
Groundhog Day
Halloween 2
Red Dawn
Weekend at Bernies
And many many more
These are just the Dolby Surround 2.0 titles I have, also some of these titles may actually be 3.0 or 4.0.
Actually I don't own any of the Vacations on DVD.
Pro Logic (Dolby Surround) can contain up to 4 channels of encoded audio, whether on the 2 channel outputs or a digital connection.

Ok, thanks Shawn.
I thought all Dolby Surround and Pro-Logic encoded movies had the label "Dolby 2.0 Surround" on them.
Anyone else know any good 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0 encoded movies?

Nathan, The reason it is called 2.0 is because the encoded audio can be transported with 2 analog RCA jacks(L&R).
Within the 2.0 transport(RCA) up to 4 channels of encoded audio can be delivered to the processor.

Wow, Fantasia in 4.0.. I bet that sounds just like DD 5.1.
Anyone else know any good DPL encoded Dvd's?

Every movie with a DD 5.1 track can be heard in pro-logic as well. A list would be literally thousands of titles long.

to clarify: Fantasia is in DD & DTS 5.0, while Fantasia 2000 (not a remake, a completely different film, which only carries over "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" from the original) is in DD & DTS 5.1.
