I don't know how many of you have seen the later seasons of the show, 1992 onward, but one of the things that bothers me is replacement voices..
Raphael had three replacement voices during the course of the show. One for the 1989 season, one for the European episodes, and one for the 1996 season.
Donatello had one replacement voice. One for 1989, and one for the European ep.
Shredder had two(three?) replacement voices. One for 1989, one for European, and one for 1994/96 seasons..
In speaking with the original voice of Donatello, Barry Gordon, I learned that he did indeed re-record some of those episodes that he missed originally in 1989, and would love to redoo the one he missed from 1992. I'm curious to see if James Avery and Rob Paulsen also eventually rerecorded the shows they missed, and if these recordings still exist?
If the later seasons get released, it would be great to have the entire original voice cast present for the entire series. THe replacements, in most cases, arn't bad, but don't compare to the originals....
Anyone know who at Artisan Ent we should contact to find this info out?
