I noticed we don't really have a thread for PC gamers to share their setups and discuss our part of the hobby.

Post your specs, or just what you're currently playing!

I'll kick it off.

I built this machine back in 2018, though just upgraded the video card:

Display/Audio:
LG 48CX Display @ 4K/120Hz
Legacy Audio StudioHD's in Cabernet finish
DIY IceEdge 1200AS2 600wpc Amp in Ghent Audio Case
RME ADI2-Pro DAC
Sennheiser HD800 Headphones

PC Specs:
Gigabyte AORUS Gaming 7 Motherboard
Intel i7-8086k CPU overclocked to 4.9GHz on all cores
64 GB GSKill RipjawsV Memory at 3200MHz
512GB NVMe Samsung EVO970 Boot Drive
1TB NVMe Samsung Pro Gaming Drive
EVGA GeForce RTX3090 FTW3 Ultra with Hybrid Liquid Cooling

Here's a pic of the setup:

Currently playing Cyberpunk 2077, and having a blast. The game looks absolutely gorgeous on max settings at 4K. Here are a few recent screenshots:

I had the CX setup on my pc but it’s just too massive to do real work on in addition to gaming. Moved it over to the Xbox/ps5 slot and sold off the e7 to help pay for it.

i9 9900, 3080, SSD, 16gb is plenty.
Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 with puck upfiring, currently broken by shitty windows 10 issues.
the most important part is the snowblind screen :)

Nice! I've seen those before. Are you happy with the machine overall? What are you playing atm?

Honestly despite having 1000+ steam games and every free game that has been release on the epic game store Diablo 3 is my most played game on PC still. I really love the RTX effect in Watch Dogs and Cyberpunk but the HDR is soooooo much better on Xbox Series X so I keep playing there.

Once I can get a 32" OLED for my PC I expect to revisit a lot of games, but so far the consoles are winning for me. And that's OK. I have the luxury of having both consoles, a kickass PC and a switch and I can juggle through them on the limited time to play that I have without worry. I don't ever get caught up in one versus the other, I go with what works for me.

Some truly great setups above. I’ve got 3 rigs networked over 2.5G LAN:

1. MSI UNIFY motherboard
i7-10700K @ 5.1GHz all core
32GB 3200 CL14
GTX 1080ti FTW3 (soon to be 3080ti... if I can find one)
Samsung 970 EVO 1TB NVmE
Fractal Design mid tower

2. MSI ITX Gaming Edge WiFi
Ryzen 5 5600x (@ stock for now)
32GB 3600 CL16
GTX 970 SSC (3060ti or similar if I can find one)
Samsung 980 Pro 1TB NVmE gen 4
NR200 ITX case

3. MSI G7 motherboard
i7 6700K @ 4.5GHz all core
16GB 3200 CL14
GTX 970 SSC (hand me down 1080ti soon)
Samsung 950 Pro NVmE
Fractal Design mid tower

The machines are used for remote school during daytime hours, and fun time in the evenings. Current most popular title in the household is Valheim.

Revamping the audio side of my main PC rig so I'll post up a pic this weekend once it's more or less redone (upgrading from a pair of HSU bookshelves to SVS Ultra bookshelves, adding an SVS SB3000 sub to quit sharing one of the home theater's HSU VTF15H-Mk2 subs, hoping to swap out the Klipsch Powergate DAC/amp for a Marantz SR5009 in preparation of eventually having a 5.1 or 7.1 setup when I can move this rig into its own room).

Until the new gear is in place however, built the rig at the end of 2019 and am just waiting for substantially-better stuff to come out to upgrade it:

Asus Rampage VI Extreme Omega motherboard
i9 10980xe @ 4.9 ghz all core
64gb 3600mhz CL16
two Titan RTX power modded for about 150% power limit
2tb Samsung 960 Pro nvme ssd
4tb Samsung 850 Evo sata ssd
Corsair HX1600i PSU
lots of custom water cooling
Thermaltake Tower 900 case
LG UltraGear 38GL950G-B 38" 21:9 Curved WQHD+ Nano IPS 1ms 144Hz Gaming Monitor

The monitor can do HDR and/or higher than 144hz but its HDR implementation is not amazing, and above 144hz it drops the colorspace so I run it in SDR and capped at 144hz. Recently haven't been gaming too much due to being busy revamping the home theater and working on school but over the past year I've played a bit of WoW Classic, Cyberpunk, and still slowly working my way through Witcher 3.
