I'm trying to get gimp to run on my iMac and I need some help. I've installed the beta of X11 from Apple, and the GTK2 and Gimp packages from opendarwin.org. Both of the packages from Open Darwin seem to have installed without problem. The problem is this.

1. I can't seem to find any trace of Gimp or GTK on my system.
2. I have no clue as to how I start Gimp.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

In Terminal, try typing

/usr/local/gimp &

I don't use Gimp but the OpenDarwin X11 page states that its packages install into /usr/local

Thanks Partick. I'm getting closer. I see gimp in /user/local/bin but I need to a sudo to see it. I've tried launching it by typing gimp & like you suggested, but that just closes xterm.
