I was wondering how people go about calibrating their setups and getting it all set at the right dB or hz or something. Is it the lower the speaker can go (im' not sure what the term is dB or mhz or something?) the better?
I haven't a clue what this means and what the importance of it is. My questions was probably really unclear but i'm not exactly sure what i'm asking either :).
Also can someone tell me what these 4:3 and 16:9 things mean? I have a Sony 32" Wega so I think I have a 16:9 whatever that means. Sorry for these newbie questions.
Thanks

4:3 is an aspect ratio- meaning that the dimensions of the set are in a ratio of 4 units wide to 3 units tall. This basically means your TV is square.
16:9 is an aspect ratio- meaning the dimensions of the set are in a ratio of 16 units wide to 9 units tall. This basically means your TV is rectangular.
Wega makes both 4:3 sets and 16:9 sets, so you might have either- but I'd assume you have a 4:3.
