I give up. After many attempts at correcting the geometry errors and general convergence on my Panny 53WX42...I've decided that I just can't get it myself. Would it be worth it to call Panasonic, and have a rep come out...or is that just a waste.

If so...are there any ISFs in the Indiana area?

    Thx in advance...

Personally, I'd have a Panny rep come out first...it's free if the tv's under warranty...if no dice, then have it ISF'd.

In indiana , ISF people might be ken whitcomb in indy.

Try the Panny person first ... but be ready to accept their sledge hammer approach to convergence. Think "good enough" ... and sometimes you have to make sure they do not make things worse off ... when they decide that your colours are not right and start messing with them.

    regards

Too bad you didn't co-create South Park. You could just dump the set, buy one of each comparable units and keep the one you like best. [IMG]
What have you tried? Have you entered the service menu to do a 50-60 point convergence (not sure what Panny offers)?
I'd call Panasonic first, with fairly low expectations, and then call an ISF tech if Panasonic can't help you.
They're supposed to be good sets that may require tweaking, so maybe an ISF calibration is in your future.

Yah...I've tried the 64-point convergence, and I just don't have the eyeballs for it. I can see there is a problem, I'm just not able to fix it.

    Michael,
How would I go about contacting Ken for pricing?

    Greetings Matt ...

Look for Ken at the ISF web site. He is listed under his own name.

    Regards
