Hola! I need someone to reccomend an excellent calibration software program that is very easy to use and doesn't require a whole lot of knowledge on the ins and out's of TV features. Also, please recommend software that sets up home theater audio as well. Thanks!

The THX Optimode software found on most current THX certified discs is pretty straight forward and easy to use for TV calibration.

The AVIA disc is probably the best all around setup assistant.

I also use the THX Optimode because it's basically free.

I'm using the newer one on Episode II.

But I'm not sold on the black level tester component.

When I boost blacks to barely see the 7th box as instructed, it seem like my blacks have all 'grayed out'.

Using WEGA with Y-DC set to 0.

Is the Optimode the real deal? Or a flaky freebie?

I appreciate the replies fellaz. I took JeremySt's advice and just purchased the Avia Guide online for $38, brand new. I looked around a bit and that price seemed to be pretty good. Thanks for the input!
