Hi all,

I have been trying to find an answer searching the forum, but I haven't had luck so far.

I have the AVIA DVD disc, which I used to calibrate my TV for optimized TV viewing.

Today I got an Xbox for my birthday, and my concern was burn in (of course), and from my research, I've seen that as long as the calibration is correct, and you have your contrast on the low side, that I should be fine.

Do I have to do a different calibration for Xbox than for the one that I did for my standard TV/DVD viewing?

I have a Sony KP-51WS510, and the calibration now has the Picture and Color and Hue just about at 50%, with the brightness slightly higher, and the sharpness much lower.

Would this be an okay setting for Xbox, or should the Brightness level be lower?

Thanks so much in advance,
Steve

High brightness is fine, but high contrast is bad.

XBOX uses different rules if you just use it for games.

If you use the XBOX for films too, then run the disc through the xbox and determine the optimal settings for the xbox.
