I've read here a few times about people talking about using a calibraion disc to set up their tv's. What are they, are they worth it, and where do I find one if so? Thanks.

Pick up a cheap copy of Video Essentials. That DVD will set up your TV much closer to spec than it probably is now. It will help you to properly set up colour, contrast, sharpness etc. giving a much better picture. It will also setup your audio if you have an audio setup. What equipment do you have?

    John,
Another good calibration disc is Avia Guide to Home Theater. Both will accomplish the same thing. Those are the two that most people use.
