    Hey everyone,

I have a quick question regarding speaker placement and calibration.

Everyting i've read for home theatre setup is based on setting up your speakers while your sitting in that " sweet spot" in the centre of the room.

What if you can't arrange your seating to be in the "sweet spot". For calibration would I temporarily put a chair in the sweet spot and do my calibration to that, even though our seating is on the sides of the room?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!

Do the calibration from the viewing/sitting location you use most. That way you will make the adjustments to get the best possible sound for where you live (so to speak) versus where you would live if everything were ideal. This way your seating on the side(s... you will have to pick one) will be your "sweet spot." Good luck!
