I'm going to be using my computer to watch dvd's for a few weeks while the main HT is getting repaired. I'm wondering whether there are any free computer programs I can get from the net to do some basic brightness, contrast, colour temp etc. calibrating procedures? Help much appreciated,

Cheers,

Mike

Mike, i used to use Adobe's gamma correction program when i had a CRT monitor. Now i have a laptop, and the TFT sucks no matter what.
Adobe's program comes free with Photoshop.
You can also do a search/browse around www.download.com .
