Cabling Question

    In regards to hooking up my VGA/Component converter from an RCA DTC-100 to the HD Monitor.

    Which would be better, or would there be a difference if...

    I hooked up a 10' VGA cable to the receiver and a short component cable to the TV.

    Or should I just use the short VGA cable and use a long component cable.

    It would be easier for me to run the long VGA because I am out of power outlets behind the rack! If I run the long VGA, I can plug it in behind the TV.

    Would it make a difference?

    Assuming you don't have one rotter of a cable, the difference wouldn't be that big. Probably unnoticeable even.
    From a purely theoretical point though... oh, let go. Just do it. [​IMG]
