Five years ago my house was gutted (thanks to a 100 or so burning beanie babbies.) While the walls and cieling were ripped down, I had my house recabled. 2 RJ6, Fiber, CAT6, 2 four pair twisted pair. Now there is next gen gamming systems and HD players.

Who would of thought that I need to add an ethernet hub in my HT. .

I went to buy a hub, and after buying the 4 port, decided the 8 port was probably a better choice and might give me some room to grow. Wonder what else I didn't take in to account when I wired the house...... .

Oh well, at least I will not have to transfer my ethernet cable between my 360, slingbox, Toshiba and Samsung.

My guess is we are close to having almost everything go wireless. Great for issues like yours, but can’t help feel like we are all human slow baked potatoes.
