I suspect that its a similiar question to this one but I don't know what '12 guage' wire looks like. Anyway, I've got the cable mentioned above - Cabletalk Talk 4.1 on front L and R with 3.1 for the centre and rears, and while I've got by with bare wire for a few years I'm looking at moving the hifi again soon. The Talk series is big thick copper wire, and my attempt at buying some banana plugs from the local hifi shop failed miserably - the connector isn't close to being big enough to take that much wire, and the rubber end is designed to fit fairly snugly over a cable half the thickness these things are!
While I'm not expecting any difference in sound quality from my bare wires, there isn't much room down the back of the hifi with my new stand, and its a real nightmare connecting it up currently. So, can anyone recommend any good cheap bananas or spades for these wires?
