I have digital cable that I have split using just a cheap amplified splitter. Today I tried using just a monster cable splitter that is not amplified and the picture on the TV was very fuzzy. I s this something I should contact the cable company about or am I just better off keeping the amplified splitter hooked up. It was worse on the analog channels.

I figured it out. I think I might need to have them replace the cable coming into the house or ar least the connector. I moved the f connector a little bit and the picture cleared up. I also noticed the sound got really quiet when the picture got fuzzy.
