    Hello to all,
I have a cable distance question. I just purchased a new wide screen HD Tv last week and i need to relocate all my audio equiment. What is the recommended max distance that i can run my video component cables and audio cable between my amp and tv without loosing too much signal.
    Thanks
    Sam

I run a 35 foot component cable with no problem. I've heard people say that 50 foot lengths also work.

Balanced audio cables can be run over 100 feet with no issue. Single ended RCA type audio cable should be kept as short as possible (3 or 4 meters is OK). But I have heard installations that have 30/40 foot single ended cables that still sounded good.

Keep them as short as possible but unless you're over 100 feet, you shouldn't notice any dgradation
