I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but in today's announcment of the Cabin Fever specs, NO mention was made of it being unrated or a director's cut.

Can someone please confirm that this is still the case, and that Lion's Gate haven't done another 'Irreversible' on us...?

According to interviews with Eli Roth, the R-rated theatrical version of CABIN FEVER did not suffer any MPAA-imposed edits, so the R-rated version of the film IS uncut.

If you're talking about some sort of extended DVD cut, I don't know, but the R-rated version is uncut in terms of gore/objectionable content.

There's another thread about this somewhere. The version coming to DVD is the same version that was in theaters.

    Okay, thanks.

The DVD still has some great extras though, but I'm not sure I'll be able to sit through all those commentaries...
