Interesting that this box office failure is getting the full physical media treatment, even including UHD, from Disney considering a couple other recent 20th Century releases have been digital only.

Wonder if a physical release was written into Russell's contract?

My guess is that they want to squeeze out a little more money out of the movie to offset some of the massive financial loss.

There's no way that anyone can convince that a physical release of Barbarian wouldn't outsell Amsterdam. Horror movie fans really embraced Barbarian and they still buy discs so to have that as digital-only while releasing Amsterdam on disc seems crazy to me.
