I have a Carver 705x amp that I pulled out of the closet the other day to hook up. I had buzzing coming from all speakers except the front right. I unpugged everything except the amp and still had the buzzing sound but ever so slightly less. After hooking everything back up, the slight change in volume of the buzz is from the tv being off and on. One other thing is that amp uses a two pronged plug - not three. The sound from the speakers can also be heard by listening closely to the amplifier's transformer. My other amplifier has no problem. Is there something inside that needs to be replaced or fixed? Could be problem with my house electricity? Any help or suggestions would be aprreciated.

perhaps consider running a wire from the chassis of the amp to the ground on the outlet.
