Hey guys been outta the dvd player game for about a year. So what plaers are considered good nowadays. Of course progressive scan with 3:2 pulldown,good picture, and hopefully no damn chroma bug if any models have corrected it. Let me know guys need to buy soon since tv will be on its way

Well as far as Video is concerned the Panasonic RP82 and the Denon 1600 are well regarded around here. I have a Toshiba 4700 and I like it. It does have the chroma bug though, although it is cheap. All three of the above are DVD-A also. If you want sacd to the Pioneer 47ai and 45a have gotten som good reviews but they are above the $500 mark. Hope that helps a bit.
