Could everyone just throw out a couple of titles that are either

    A) Only available in non-region 1 or...

    B) Significantly better in picture or special featuers/packaging/etc. in non-region 1?

So far I'm getting the Region 3 Army of Darkness Director's cut, any others?

24 Season 1: The UK version has better menus, and several of the final episodes have a few extra minutes.

The Fifth Element - UK version - a 2-DVD set coming out in November in the UK has a whole disc full of supplements while the US is bare bones and will likely stay bare bones since different companies distribute it there and here.

The Korean version of David Lynch's Mulholland Drive has loads of extras. Come to think of it that might be region O, but it is an official product, not a bootleg.

Army of the Dead - Hong Kong R3 is the BEST in terms of PQ -
In Search of Shakespeare - BBC special R2 only
Orson Welles' Macbeth - R2 only
King Kong - only in non-R1
Fish Named Wanda - Great extras in R2
Malena - R0 is only uncut version (playable on any machine, tho.)

but just go to this site:Rewind - Compare

    or this one:DVD Beaver

Most my purchases have been non R1 since getting the machine. Lots of catching up for me to do! [IMG]
