I have been wanting to build a kit after many years since doing so. I have come across this kit amp ( K4020 ) made by Velleman and was wondering if anyone has put this unit together or has any information about it.
Also thoughts if this would be suitable for driving a set of front speakers such as the Klipsch RF-3's or even a pair of SVS 20-39cs subs.
Here is a link to it.

Anyone know of better price or source?

    Hi Curt,
I'm not familiar with the Velleman kit, here's another source for amp kits http://www.sealelectronics.com/. Randy has at least one book out on how to build solid state amps, I found it to be very informative.

Thanks for the link Kevin, I will give them a look. Seems like the site may be down at the moment.

I was asked by e-mail to check the link I supplied and it is not working. For some reason the forum puts periods into the link instead of the complete link that I try to post.

If you want to paste it in your browser, here is what you need.
