Currently my theater room doesn't have a standard TV so I need to run my projector any time I watch or listen to anything so I decided to build a small 2 channel system so I can listen to music without having to burn away hours on my lamp.

So far I decided on:

TEAC CD-P650 CD player with ipod interface.

Micca Origain amplifier.

Klipsch RP600M speakers.

Those speakers are incredibly well rated. The current price of $439/pair is much lower than the $600 I have seen them for in the past. I'm not sure about the amp but it should be able to adequately power the highly efficient speakers. If I need better I can swap it with the 'emotiva' amp I currently have running my surrounds.

I am currently breaking in my new Klipsch RP600Ms by playing Abbey Road on auto repeat. They are Ginormous for bookshelf speakers.

What model receiver or Pre/Pro do you have. My Marantz [and I suspect many others] offer passthrough DLNA options as well as Airplay for this purpose. I can play music from my phone or any other compatible device [Tab, TV, etc] through the Marantz without ever actually turning it or my projector on.

For surround I run the 7.1 pre outs from my oppo 203. For my new stereo system I am running optical to a dac.
