I am about to start building my 16" X 43" Shiva Sonotub similar in design (in design, not size and driver) to BrianW's Flexi Sonosub .

So I will have a bottom plate(probably in MDF, not in Oak)

since my floor isin't exactly perfecly plane(I am directly on concrete basement floor) I was wondering what kind of "feet" should I put between the plate and the floor?

    I curently have 2 ideas:
2-Small soft cap like those we put under chair feet(don't know the name of those thing!)

    any clues?

I'm debating a few options for the feet on my Tempest... right now I'm thinking 4 1/2 inch MDF feet and I will either put a thin layer of rubber on the bottom (about 1/16th inch) or just pop on some of those store bought little clear rubber discs like I used on my speaker stands (on my page below). It sounds like for your design you might want to look at those little rubber guys. You can always build them up a bit using the extra material surrounding the cutout circles in any areas that make the sub wiggle. I don't know how well spikes would work on concrete...?
