Building 5.1 Setup (1 Viewer)

Hello guys, i'm new here. So got some doubts, and appreciate some help. I'm starting building my 5.1 Setup, so i'm planing at start point mounting something from aliexpress, the Dac i will use is an UD851B, has anyone used this Type of decoder? It supports AC3, but most of movies i watch are in EAC3, it will work? Sorry, i'm new to this world of Home Theter!

That would be an unusual way to set up a surround system. It will require active/powered speakers, or external amps. And while it has a volume control, it doesn't appear to have any way to adjust the individual levels, which is required for setting up a surround system. I just see a lot of obstacles with this unit.

My gut feeling is it would be much better to find a nice used surround receiver. What source(s) will you be using?

I’m will be using an amplifier board + pre amp. With stremio in an Mi Tv Stick 4K. With amplifier board + pre amp. Btw, as u said, i think i will search fon an good used avr.
