Is there anyway in Opera that you can turn off the hyperlinks on a web page being underlined like you can in IE?
Yes.
In version 5.x open up the Opera.ini file. Look for the section that's labeled [LINKS]
If theres a setting called Underline it should say:
Underline=1
Just set it to Underline=0. If it's not there then just add the Underline=0 entry and restart the browser.

Thanks for the heads up. I had to take that part of the .ini file from 5.xx over to 6.xx for it to work right.
